The standards we hold ourselves to. If we ever fall short of them, tell us — that's what corrections@nusoundpress.com is for.
Nusound is editorially independent. No advertiser, label, PR agency or artist gets to approve, kill or edit a story. Coverage is never bought, and we never sell it.
We report from primary sources — the people involved, the record, the room — not screenshots and secondhand rumour. Claims we can't stand up don't run. When we're relying on a single source or an unconfirmed report, we say so plainly.
We get things wrong sometimes; when we do, we fix them fast and openly. Substantive corrections are noted on the article. To flag an error, email corrections@nusoundpress.com.
Writers disclose personal, financial or working relationships with anyone they cover, and step back from stories where they can't be impartial.
Advertising is clearly separated from editorial and marked as such. Any affiliate or sponsored content is disclosed up front. Sponsors have no say over what we cover.
Reviews are the honest opinion of the writer. We buy, stream or are sent material to review; being sent something never obliges a positive verdict — or any coverage at all.
Many of our contributors are independent writers. The views and opinions expressed in a bylined article are the writer's own and do not necessarily reflect those of Nusound Press or its staff.
Some articles are drafted with AI assistance for research and production support. Every one is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a person before it runs, and AI-assisted pieces are clearly labelled. We never publish fabricated quotes, images or sources, and reporting, interviews and opinion stay human-led.
Music submissions and freelance pitches are read but not guaranteed coverage. See Submit Music and Write for Us for how to reach the right desk.
